Just discovered that some of the spades in the 14 pin connector on top of the ABS pump/controller are toast. That connector is hard mounted on the controller and I don't know if it can be replaced or if it can be removed and repaired. I fear I am about to have to learn how to replace a pump. Never dont that.
Any one had one of these things apart. Can it be repaired with a replacement part? If not is replacing this pump a DIY project or am I doomed to go to Dodge dealer for this?
I have done all sorts of brake jobs and repairs but never got into replacing the ABS. I understand you have to be hooked to some sort of scanner to bleed it. It also probably has to be told some vehicle parameters or am I just punchy from reading so much about my truck?
