for some reason my phone is not allowing me to reply to the threads. Yes sir, I am looking forward to getting this installed once I get the evap cleaned this weekend.

I have been watching dozens of videos on what to remove for the dash. Mine is going to take a little bit longer due to having extra lightening harnesses running under the dash and to the doors and stuff but I should be able to make this happen fairly easily.

I just have to add my experience with installing the filter kit in my mega cab. Disclaimer, the mega cabs seem to have pretty poor air flow to start but after adding the filter it just restricted the flow way too much for me to live with in the Georgia heat. I had to run the fan on high just to feel any air moving and even then it wasn't much. And no nothing is clogged, this is my second mega cab and they have both had sub standard air flow from the day I drove them off the lot.
I ended up pulling it out and made my own, less restrictive filter out of a stove top vent filter. Obviously it will not stop all the fine dust that the factory filter will but it was a compromise for me to keep a little air flow.

Alright ya'll,

So I wanted to post this up Saturday morning but for some reason my phone will not give me this section that allows you to actually type a response or anything.

Any who, I got the dash removed from my truck in 30 minutes. Actually a very simple process even if you have gauges installed and a lot of extra wiring running around. First thing I did not was that Dodge did away with the vent screens that were in the 3rd gens, They are now a hard plastic door on a motor that moves and they all move as they should. I cleaned every little area that I could reach by hand to get it free of dust and dirt prior to the next part. I reinstalled the dash which took a about an hour just to make sure I got it all aligned correctly and didn't pinch any wires or connectors on accident.

In my earlier post you'll see that I posted something about a lube it kool it cleaner. THIS STUFF IS AWESOME. It comes with a long hose that attaches to the spray nozzle and allows you to get into really tight spaces. The box requires that you go in through the drain valve but I didn't have my jack to lift the truck so I couldn't get under to find it. I removed the blower motor, used my phone to take a video or where I would be looking to get an idea and using that I shoved the tube into the evap area and let her rip. Instructions said to use the entire can so I did and this stuff sort of expands and attaches to whatever dirt and crap it grabs. I waited 20 minutes for it to soak in and dissolve whatever needed to be. Then I reinstalled the blower motor and ran the truck and AC on Low fan and 1 knob below max ac as far as air temp so that the system would generate more condensation to be used to sort of rinse the EVAP core off. Ran the truck for 10 minutes this way and when I was done, the airflow was dramatically better and the wife even said "I dont think the air has ever been this cold or strong lol"

All in all, didn't take very long and tomorrow when I get my cabin filter I will get that installed. What would be nice is if you could install a control that has higher fan settings to get the fan to blow harder. My wife's journey has 8 fan settings and on 8 things get nuts. lol. All be it its a much smaller system it is dual zone and cools a much larger cabin area and just works better lol. Maybe I'll swap in a journey AC system into my truck hahahahaha.

When your fan is on high, it's turning as fast as it can. When you have it on a lower speed, the resistor is "absorbing" voltage to make the fan turn slower. If you want more air you'll have to get a faster motor that fits the hole.
