I just had mine replaced under warranty. My truck is a '99 and has 80K miles. The A/C went out last fall at about 70K but I just got around to taking it in. I have the "Wrap Around" Warranty that was being offered as an incentive back in 1998. I ordered my truck in late August of 1998 and picked it up in October of 1998. At that time you could either pick an across the bed tool box or the Wrap Around Warranty (In addition to any other incentives). It's good for 100,000 miles. The deductable is $100 and this is the first time I have used it. I always thought I would have to use it for the trans (I guess I still might). I had mine done at Tate Dodge in Annapolis, MD (never been there before). This is the first time I have ever been completely happy with work done at a Dealer. They did everything right the first time (I had a few things done). The guy who did the work is an "expert" at doing evaporators and did it in just a couple/few hours. He actually "likes" doing them. In any case, mine cools at least as good as when new and seems to cool better than ever. It may be just that it was going bad over a period of time, but I don't remember it working this good when new.
