Freon?

I don't think they use freon in vehicles anymore. Too much global warming from freon being vented into the atmosphere (and cows breaking wind and who knows what else?). I forget what the new coolant is called. Anyway, the dealer fixed mine truck and I've had no further problems. HOWEVER, I haven't been on any long trips either.

Still freon. There are MANY differant types of freon. Old R12 was supposly hurting the ozone. Whats used now is R134a. Supposly safer to the ozone. Freezers and other types of ac/freezer units use differant types but its all refered to as freon as far as I know.
