I'm talking about the little wimpy clips that hold the lines together where they splice, specifically the one right behind the air box. I must have bumped it a week ago when swapping out my exh. housing. Weird though, I drove it several times over the last week including pulling 4 horses to the mountains last Sunday. Last night I pulled into Home De Potte, shut off, get out and I hear a hiss with steam coming out from under the hood. :eek: I look under there and it's that AC line leaking, bad. So I tried to push it back together and POW it pops off completely, covers my arm with AC juice! This is the second time this has happened.

So is there a better way to clamp these lines together so they can take more than a brush up against them before popping off? Now I have to get the thing vacuumed and recharged. :-{}

There is supposed to be a clip that goes over each joint that will not allow that to happen. Someone must have left yous off at one point

The clamp is there, but it's not a very good setup. I was wondering if anyone had devised a better clamp, or should I just put some hose around it and use hose clamps? It seems the pipes wouldn't be strong enough for hose clamps.
