I have a 2004 Ram that the AC quit blowing. At first I thought it was the ignition switch, this happened before and I replaced it and we were back on the road. I replace it again but no joy! I have checked all the fuses I can and everything is fine. Now I'm looking for what to do next short of taking it to the shop and spending big money. Does anyone have any suggestions?

When you push the button to start the AC does it light up to indicate that it is on? If so, my first guess would be that the blower fan is out. It's located under the glove box, and you can see it hanging down. I think there are two fasteners holding in place. I'd remove it and check to see if there is current to the connection, and also use an external power source to see if the fan is working.

Yes it sure does...I can turn on the fan and depress the button for the AC and you can hear the compressor try to kick in (or kick on), and no fan on. I will go back and see if it what I can find! Thanks!!

Ok the the fan and relay resistor changed and still nothing. I checked all the vacuum hoses and everything seems to be fine there. While I was under the hood I and the AC switch depressed the compressor was kicking on and off. I turned my truck off and turned my fan switch to off I noticed the AC button was still lit up and I could turn it on and off with the fan switch off. I have never been able to do that before.
