All - The AC is blowing cold air, but it doesn't really cool the truck. At 75 degrees outside, fan on full, lowest temp and recirculating the cab air, I'd expect it to get pretty cold inside the truck (or is that a bad assumption). Or, is this about what everyone else sees?

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mark

My 05 only has a couple hundred miles on it, and in mid 80 degree temperatures, the cab just gets tolerable. . It goes in next monday. .

Mine has never produced "meat locker" cold air in hot temps (>80). I know all the ventilation doors are working fine, so I figure it either needs a recharge or it's just the nature of the beast. Either way, I just tolerate it rather than let the dealer start messing around with it.

At this point, I've got way too much "customization" on this truck to let anyone do anything serious to it.

I'm having the same problem. I work at a shop, but never get to work on my own vehicle so I still need to look at mine. If you guys get to it before me, let us know.

If you have a thermometer - You should get about a 45 degree air charge at the vent when on high and recirc. - And that after 20 minutes or so of course

That how we test them, High and recirc, therm. stuck in the vent

With out recirc, the best you can hope for is about a 20* drop from outside

Our temps today were in the lower 90's and when I got into my truck after it had sat all day, I cranked up the air. Shortly... within 3-5 miles, the A/C on full blast was starting to give my sweaty ody a quick chill... I had to turn it back... that's how its always worked. No A/C complaints ever.
