AC pump

After having the truck sit for 2 days I will start it up and shortly after maybe 1 minute I start-up the AC. At this point there is thud and it goes away. I suspect that the AC pump pully. It does not happen all the time. Any of you all having this problem.

Mine would occasionally clunk the first time it engages after sitting overnight. It doesn't seem to do it anymore now that I have about 12k on it. I'm wondering if the A/C clutch just needs to break in?

For whatever it's worth, my dealer says it's the clutch engaging and not to worry about it.

How often should the clutch engage and dis-engage? Mine does it quite often, sometimes within 3 or so seconds. Is this the norm?

3 seconds sounds pretty quik to me I would have pressure checked.
