Are you sure it's not the blower motor? Cycle it through all speeds to make sure it's working. If the resistor goes bad you will usually lose one or all of the lower speeds. High speed should always work. You may have a flaky resistor.

Mark,
The Blower is working fine on all speeds and especially when ramped up on high where I believe the resistor is bypassed. As long as it continues
working as it does now, I’m happy but it bothers me not knowing what caused this in the first place because every DC I’ve owned in the past the AC systems were crap which caused me to try a new Tacoma....... but that’s another story and something I’d rather forget.
Thank’s for your input!

Leave it alone or fix it now. You can cycle every single mode for airflow and then hot and cold. This may break something so you can fix it or show the problem. The Computer will randomly recal the doors and maybe this was it. The next recal may jam up. You can also inspect the mode doors and see if the stops are broken off.

Here is the troubleshooting from Heater Treater, videos toward the bottom.

Thank’s Tuesdak,
At this point I’m not even sure that something is broken and since I pretty much agree with the statement “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” I’m going to
leave things alone until I’m sure something is broken especially when a computer is involved which I wasn’t aware of. BTY, the link you sent was excellent and I got more out of the information in the link than reading the FSM.
