Got a 2019 3500 ram, the ac seems not cold enough. It blows 52 degrees weather its 60 outside
or 85. My 18 blew 42 degrees and the 12 was a little cooler. Any one have the same issue?

I thought it was just me. Yes, my 2019 AC is not even close to how cold my 99 would get. I remember when I first got the 99 it would actuality show fog comming out of the vents on high humidity days.

I keep an AC thermometer stuck in my AC vent in my 2017 5500 all the time... on coldest setting is 46°F. Haven't checked wifes 2019 Ram 1500.

Cheers, Ron

67 degrees outside temp, recurc, max a/c,max blower, panel vents, The centers blew 54 ,the outer vents blew 51. At 67 outside temp with the sun shining threw the windows the coldest I could get was 64 in cab temp. This is on a 2019 bighorn with manual temp controls. I fired up my 2018 mustang in the garage and within 2 minutes it was blowing 39.

Think I read somewhere measuring at the center vents on max cool in the 40's. My 99 does 45 at 90 degrees outside.

It's relatively simple, on a R134A Aircon you get at the best a T-18°C.
No more.
Less means something is wrong with the system.

Riverside, same with mine and with the sun coming through the side glass it get warm.
Have always had a thermometer in the vents since 1977. The first one was a powder
thermometer for measuring temp on the gun powder for 8in. Howitzer rounds.
