Hello

I recently read here that there are some of you who have Cut Holes in the bed for Access to the sending unit on top of the fuel tank, instead of dropping the tank or lifting the bed.

Are there any of you that have pictures of this done and if so could you post them for me Please??

Thank you very much.

Dropping the tank is really not a bad job. I've done 4 or 5, tank as low on fuel as possible, unplug elec, disconnect: supply & return lines, fill port, loosen 2 nuts that hold tank straps, support tank w/2X4 and floor jack, take nuts off, remove straps and lower tank. In and out time 3 hours - depending on what you need to do while its out.

I'd rather do this than go to the trouble of removing the bed . . . or ending up with a hole in the bed. But, that's just me . . .

I wish I could help you out but I have never done it but it would be great to have a guide to show where to cut, some measurements and pictures.
