Access Plug

Are you talking about the big hex plug on the governor housing, under the safety wire that you can access the Gov springs thru? (see below)

I couldn't find any p/n's or sizes. Its like a big flanged plug with a hex fitting in the center. Probably will need to get it at a Bosch dealer.

The plug came out? Unbeliveable.

Hemi:
The plug I'm refering to is on page 14-74 in the 96 manual, fig 9. To the left and below the plug you are thinking about. . The bracket or plate the plug is mounted on is held on by two bolts, staancing vertical.

Might be the plug giving access to the pump timing blade and pin. Bosch only part.

Joe is right. I see it now. It almost looks like an acorn nut. It is the access port for the pump timing tooth, like you guys said.

For a '95 P-7100 I have Bosch part #'s

3912888 Plug, Timing
3912889 Washer, Sealing

11 ft lbs torque.

OK men, I have another question:
I noticed I was losing a good bit of oil and I thought it was the power steering pump. Well I cleaned it up and went down the hwy. to see if I could tell where it was comming from. Quit a bit of oil. I found the cause of the leak and now I need your help.
The "injector pump access plug" came off and the oil for the pump is comming out there. A lot.
Does anyone know what size hole that is and what will fit it? P7100 pump but it's not the 913. 887 I think or something like that.
Can't drive the truck even to get the part.
Any ideas??????????????????
