When an accessory requiring power is directly connected to one of the batteries, how does one make the connection?

Is there an available device(s) available which simplifies this? Does it make a difference which battery the connection is made to?

Advantages/disadvantages??

I just use a large crimp type ring terminal under the battery clamp tightening nut with an inline fuse close by, either battery. Advantages cheap, easy. Disadvantages - might corrode?

I've also drilled, tapped and screwed a 1/4'' stud with wingnut into the top of positive battery terminal.

THANKS GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!

That is exactly the information I was looking for . Best source of information for most anything you can think of , and some you can't!!!:D

Liquid Electrical Tape? I have never heard of it,are you for real? If so I am going to have to get me some uhhuh.

Good stuff but,

Problem I've had with the liquid electrical tape is that once you open the can it goes bad fast. Think of lots of things to use it on before you open it. I gooped it all over a torn nagahide forklift seat, works great.
