Hornet Alarm System for sale, slightly used :p

If you don't have the security key ignition, I would look into getting that instead of an add on system. My order somehow missed the security key and the salesman substituted an aftermarket system. It's a pain in the ***** having two fobs for entry and an alarm. I think the security key accessory is the same cost as a good add-on assuming both are installed by a shop

EVS II Security Key linky .

Just my $0. 02.

hey i just installed a clifford matrix rsx 3. 5, i hear it is the best, i got it off of ebay payed like $230 and had a buddy intall it for a hundred bucks, this saved me about 250 bucks, i would reccomend it the system works great, you can add your existing keyless entry to the transmitter, oh i didnt mention it is remote start, keyless entry, security, and turbo cool, down, this has been a really nice upgrade especially on the diesel, for the turbo, and now that it has been real cold for warm up.

I started out with the exact add-on system. Wiring is not too bad if you have the factory service manuals. Just take your time and double check before cutting anything. I have since upgraded to the DEI Python 881 system. Much better system with lots more features. It is quite a bit more expensive than the add on systems.

Seems that when I did mine I poked around on the web on the major alarm company websites and found several with charts that had wire color and approximate location in the vehicle. I did lots of homework before I began the project. It has been several years since though.
