Adding a fold flat rear floor

My 03 does not have the under rear seat fold out / fold flat rear floor. Anyone else added one? anything I need to know? My thought is to look for a junkyard one, but if anyone knew of where to order one affordably that would be great too. Thanks

These are for his '08... I don't think a lot has changed with the rear seats since the QC was first offered.

I wish I could have the nice fold out steel floor my 04 had instead of this POS plastic excuse for a load floor..... Should be able to get and bolt right in.

I'd go that way, junkyard. The floors are quite expensive and you need all components for it. So it's best if you can disassemble them yourself out of the donor car.

I added a '03 OEM double cab fold flat to my '13 Tradesman crew cab. Went in just fine, took some nuts, washers and bolts but looks and behaves like factory. It's just a little short to the front seats when folded down (double cab length fold flat). Came off my father-in-law's '03 3500 after he totaled it.
One could also do the mod that allows the back seat seatback to fold forward at the same time. i didn't do it because it required cutting the seatback hook and adding a stack of janky washers, if I remember correctly.

I bought a dealer takeout for my 09 Ram 4500. Doner was an earlier model 3rd gen. Had to remove floor system to install factory sub woofer. I don't remember the installation to be that hard or require anything special. But, memory not so great.

I bought one off Craigslist for my 05. I think it was off a 09. I had to make a plate for the middle hinges since my 05 didn’t have the split seat but that was easy.

I think I still have mine in the attic. Not sure where you're located, but shipping might be costly.
