Adding cruise control to '06 ST

Can somebody with actual information tell me if cruise control can be added to a 2006 2500 CTD, manual transmission?



Is it the case of adding the steering wheel controls and other switches/ actuator and plugging them in to the existing wiring harness? The local dealer seems to be clueless.



Any information or direction to someone or company that might know would be greatly appreciated.

Well I've been out of the "LOOP" since 2001. BUT until then there was a PART number to add FACTORY cruise to any truck. Switche's,servo etc. All wiring and what not is already in place. Install was easy. Ordered and installed it on many a bare 1500 V6,V8 trucks. If PARTS is clue less tell them to ask their PARTS REP. That what he is for. All it takes is picking up the phone.
