Adding intercooler

For you guys that added an intercooler early on in your upgrading of your 5. 9 . . Was it worth it? Could you tell a difference?

I replaced mine because of the plastic end caps- otherwise my opinon would

be spend the money else where. I really did not notice a noteable difference in the turbo spool.

Typical gain is about 100 degree egt drop at the 400 hp level under full load.

Might you see more of a EGT drop at higher HP levels and more boost than stock?

Yes 200 degree drops have been noted at the 800 + level
