Adding length to a Jordan Brake Controller Cable?

Hey folks,



I just traded in my 94 and had removed EVERYTHING off it including the Jordan. My question is, can I just run to a bike shop an get a shifter/brake cable & sleeve to replace the one on my Jordan? I was going to call, but his hours aren't very military+Mountain Standard Time friendly



Any suggestions or homebrews would be great. I'm looking to get this in this weekend.

I don't see why not, as long as the cable moves free.



where do you mount your Jordon? I just started on mine tonight, but it got dark and the misketos came out so I went in.

FYI,



I called Jordan. he would have been happy to send me just a replacement plastic sleeve to add the length. But because I am adding length to it, I'll have to have the cable replaced also. From my understanding this will be free of charge (other than shipping)



Other than the time, this is another great example of customer service!

Nope, not a commie. Just a bean counter. I did have a REAL job, I was a fire figher. Just a few too many highspeed motorcycle accidents



Well my controller is going out in about 30min, lets see how quickly I get it back. I'm looking forward to getting my truck put together.
