Adding power driver's seat

Has anyone added power driver's seat to their truck? Is the wiring harness there somewhere? What about fuse connection in fuse block?

The connection for the electric seats is an 8 pin plug that would be terminating under the center seat console. Look in your fuse panel and see if you have one for the seats.



As you can see from my signature, I put power seats in my truck. It was not wired for them, so I used the power window circuit, since it was wired and not in use.

closer and and had the darker cloth seat, I'd trade ya. I've had this truck almost a year now and can't seem to get the seat adjusted to where I am comfortable. If I had to do it over again, I would of not traded for truck with power seat.



Why do they call it (seat), power seats???? There is only one seat that is powered.

pwr seat

there should be a plug on the floor coming thru the carpet under the driver's seat, this is for the pwr seat and if you have it then the installis pretty straightforward. Other than the seat itself, all you need is the circuit breaker that goes in the fusebox on the driver's side of the dash.
