My truck has the in tank fuel pump. Do i need to drop the tank and do away with the stock pump or just run another hose in the tank and tee back into the stock fuel line? That way I would have a backup pump also. What do you guys think?

So, I dropped the tank down and out in a bulkhead fitting and run -8 line to my pusher pump. From there it is -6 line all the way to the CP3. Just before the fuel filter, I installed a T valve with the factory pump feeding in one side and the pusher coming into the other side. I keep the valve switched to the pusher pump and popped the relay out of the fuse box to shut off the in tank pump. Now, if the pusher fails, all I have to do is switch the T- valve to the intank pump and put the relay back in and go.
