Adding rear defroster

Adding rear defroster I have a 2004 3500 without a rear defroster.

I'm also looking in to having the rear glass changed out with a new one with the defroster.

From what I under stand is everything is there for the defroster.

I have the heated side mirrors. I noticed a place for a relay for the defroster. Need to get some prices on replacing the rear glass.

Has anybody done this?

I replaced my stock solid rear window that had a defroster in it, with a aftermarket sliding rear window (so I could access the shell) that did not have a defroster. Cost was $250. 00. I know this doesn't answer your question, but you can file it away under "only slightly irrelevant information. "

i hope you live up north otherwise is see this as pointless. you could just get out there every morning and hose off the back window and call it a day.
