I know when I bought my 13 that the only option on back up camera was one on the 8.4nav screen and one in the rear view mirror. I recently put a double din head unit in my 03 with a back-up camera and liked it enough that I added on my headache rack so I could see the goose neck ball. To do this I bought a simply rca y-splitter and single pole double throw switch on the trigger wire going to each camera.
What I wondered is if I could do something that simple on the 13. I think I would want to order the factory third brake light camera so as to be able to hide the wires easily.
Also has anyone attempted to add a third brake light camera on the 4th gen trucks? Is the wiring harness there by chance or will it require I run new wiring?
