Shelby, I haven't heard of that specific fuel, but there are a couple of branded fuels that use additive preblended. It definitely helps some but you get better results adding it yourself. The preblended stuff typically isn't as high of a ratio compared to adding the additive yourself.

One other thing I forgot to mention about Howes is the increased fuel mileage. I see several people here said it. I've had tons of truck drivers say they get better mileage with Howes. Personally I saw a 1. 5mpg increase when I started using it on my '94. The '01 has always had it, don't know about mileage gain.

The additives out there available to us are all like our shock choices, different one suit everybody,,Standyne,Power Service,FPPF,Howe's and others will do the job we all ask,,My choice's for additive's are two,,The Red Line Oil brands,85 Plus and Fuel Catalyst and their RL-2 or RL-3,,And we can not certainly forget Amsoil's Diesel Fuel Modifier,Diesel Fuel Additive and Cetane boost,,Now which of the two do I like the best,I'd have to say Red Line's 85 plus and Catalyst,,They seem to light the wick better in my Cummins and are easier to apply, since you do not need to measure out the amounts needed as with most of the others available,,I am an avid Amsoil user, but just prefer Red Line Oil's fuel additives better...

Does anyone know of a product called "CD-2 Total Diesel Fuel Maintenance"; label says "passes L-10 Cummins test". This is what a local Cummins dealer stocks as a fuel additive.
