Just read the post on fixing the overflow valve and it left me wondering if you do the fix... . can you stretch the spring to get more pressure than stock??
How about 50psi -VS- stock??
Maybe the injection pump will fill better at high rpm's or high fuel rates??

FL60Cummins, I have tested my fuel pressure settings at idle (22 psi) and full throttle, no load (31 psi) which are within specs. I also took the truck out for a full throttle road test and the lowest averaged pressure reading was 17 psi. I would assume that the pump is the limiting factor not the pressure valve. I was thinking along the same lines as you were, as I was concerned about my fuel pressure with the stock fuel plumbing. I would assume that 17psi under full load is acceptable? What are your thoughts?
