I just wanted to get an idea where everyone runs their boxes, under normal driving conditions... Edge Comp, DD UFM, PMax, Blue Chip. . Others. . I know everyone does not run them on Kill all the time:rolleyes: Just wanting an idea... (big injectors or not) Thanks

Bryan

Normal driving,(whatever that means:rolleyes: ) empty, I run mine on 4, when I'm towing my 6,000# trailer, 1 or 2, depending on how late I am to the job. Check my sig. fer mods.

I have a PowerMax 2 and don't even know if the on/off switch works anymore. :D I don't know if you can call a burnout in a 7500lb truck normal driving either. :p

Darrell

1x2 for operating and general driving, 3x3 for city-type work (although I did slide it up to 3x5 when I was in Edmonton last weekend!). Once the clutch seats in I'll try the odd blast on 5x5... . but probably not that much.

I run my DD TT box on #3 all the time (most agressive) with my mods (see sig) works well for everything including towing my 8800Lb Boat.

My EZ is on the most agressive setting. My Power Edge box is on level 3 all the time, I just turn it off if I don't want the extra power. (this is the same as being 5x5 on the comp. )

PE Comp... . Almost always on 2/2... It's warming up pretty good right now, so on 2/2, I can get a big ol' black cloud goin'... . tried 1/1, it's a dog... ...

Well when I first got the FMS a year ago, I would just switch it on when I "needed" more power, but after a while I just left it set on 35% (63% max), then it has somehow inched upwards (I think my wife is the culprit :D) at present she has it set on 60% at all times. On the one hand it's great to have Warp 10 available at all times, but the time between fill-ups is getting shorter

Hey Gnutt! Been a while. I run mine on level 4x3 right now, seeing as how my new clutch is on it's way, and there is absolutely NOTHING left of my old one. I did run it on 5x5 all the time, but I'm led to believe that's what killed my clutch. I guess you can drive it now, since I'll have a new clutch (and several other goodies) in next semester :-laf :p.

As soon as I get the new clutch broken in, I'll be right back to "kill" mode :D. Do you think SuperMentals will be too much for Corsicana driving?

If its raining or snowing, I drive with the COMP off or in 1x1. I've got BD IV's right now for injectors.

Typical driving I drive in 2x5 or 3x3.

If I see some action it goes to 4x5 or 5x5 depending on who/what it is.

my EZ

set at the lowest pin setting thats all the power that I need with good drivability and only power mod that i have

Two-lane roads are 90% of my driving. I leave the Powermax3 Competition on level 5 or 6 all the time. I hate getting stuck behind slow cars (30-40 in a 55zone) on my way to work, and need the power almost every day. I don't see the point in turning it down.

I live in a small town and dont really drive more than a mile to work. So I drive on 1x1 most of the local stuff. But when I hit the hwy, I have no problem holding it WOT on 5x5 to run someone down... ... ... ... ...

Thanks for the replies guys... I just got a new toy installed. . (got a good deal on a box) and Just wanted to see where everyone else was running their boxes on Normal. . (well. . OK. . there never is a NORMAL driving in a Cummins. ) I been running on 1x3 and 3x3 for normal driving on the Comp box. .

Gizmo. . I think the SuperM's would fit right in... If you decide to go to bigger injectors. . I could use the BDII's... Oo.

Gfriend's frist ride with the box. . she was like. . that is smooth... and tonight a littlde 5x5 ride. . wow. . it has POWER now. . :D :D

Thanks. .

Ditto, basically the same set up as Rubbernecks, 'cept the step 5 injectors. I leave the PM#3 comp. box on 0 usually, 2-4 for some fun, 9 when I feel like beating my pump with wild abandon :D .

I don't want to get used to the PM's power all the time, I'll only want more then.
