When I had stock injectors I kept the Powermax3 on 7 most of the time. With the addition of 115 hp injectors 3 is plenty. But 9 ROCKS.

When I had the DD TTPM, I kept it in #3 setting (most aggressive) all the time.

I run my Comp on 2x5 all the time, until it's race time, then 5x5 naturally ;)

Fellow Rammers:

I normally run my TST Power Max 3 adjustable on setting 6. I get best combo of fuel mileage and power. I also tow my 15K lb 5th wheel in this setting.

When there's Ferds or Chebys around, I punch her on up to level 9.

Gotta love it!

Tom... Are you still running the stock injectors?? If so, Do you get much smoke on 2/5?/

Thinkin'about pulling my BDII's, and goin' to some 4's or ?

Now that it's warmin' up some, I'm getting smoke on 2/2, with my sampler size HY... ...

Colin

Sorry... . I just reread your sig..... Oh well. .

You'll get smoke on 1x1 with IV's with the warmer weather. Least I do. Its not a huge amount but its noticable. If your still running the lil HY I would rethink the IV's..... I can get 35lbs of boost on just injectors.

Ain't that the truth! :D :D :D

I run my comp on 2x1 daily (keeps the smoke down). 3x3 when towing 8,800# TT. 5x5 when it's time to wake someone up.

I suppose I should at least try the other settings for daily driving, but like Bigsaint said - I would just want more :D

Eric,

With my box on or off. . I get 30-33 #'s depending on ambient air temps, and other variabels... But I doubt I'm getting the same volumne of air you 40/B-1 guys are getting... . But it sure spools quicker...

Colin,

Yep, as you read, I have the DD 3's. I have vowed that by this time next year, I plan on having the Bully Dog 5's (or newer DD nozzles if they come out with something closer to the BD5's than the current SuperMentals), and a turbo upgrade. Most likely Kurt's B1, twins are likely just waaaaaay too $$$$$$$$.

Also starting to have very, very bad ideas about a new cam, after reading a thread Brandon started about Piers' now selling cams. And of course the folks at Enterprise Engine have several cams, too... ...

Back to your question though. Yes, now that we are having 100*+ days :{ I do get a little smoke on Comp setting 2x5 when letting out the clutch in pretty much all the gears, even when not really getting on it.

I'd say first get a serious turbo upgrade (a KS HX-40 or Piers' HX40, or B1), then either DD SuperMentals or BD 4/5's :D:D:D

Bryan,

Adjustable Boxes-Normal Driving ????????Whats that.

I run Blue Chip. . Others. . I do not know. 300 FEET of posi is all I can handle on dry pavement. The only time I shut it off is when it is wet. I spin 75 miles a day 40 miles HWY. ON AND GONE. Steven

Ok, ok. I'm sorry Bryan, but I just gotta rub it in. There is a new guy down here where I work that likes to run his mouth :-{}. He drives an 80-something mustang that he hopped up and couldn't believe that a one ton diesel pickup could run very fast .

Well, after work this evening, we lined up on the service road and had our own little drag race. First one to the on-ramp wins $100...

I'm now $100 richer. Oh yea, his mustang is a convertible :D... He now has a black interior :-laf.

Hey Chris,

I bought a PE Comp, but have not installed it yet. Did you get the "drag" upgrade on your comp? Also, is your truck 6 speed?

I can't wait to dyno with the new fueling box. Need to ask Don M. when the next dyno days will be.
