We use a Reese that is adjustable by removing and reinstalling 2 large bolts. It covers our range of towing needs.

Reese Equalizer Hitches in varying weight requirements

I have been thrilled with my new "Rapid Hitch" www.ultrahitch.com I got the one with a 6" drop but a 10" drop is also available. It has a solid aluminum structure (except the balls and lock pins) and has a trailer rating of 10,000 pounds and tongue rating of 1,500 pounds. It is adjustable in either the up or down position. I got the hitch ($135) which included one flipover double ball (I got 2" & 2 5/16"), I also got the accessory ball (1 7/8") ($16) and a set of keyed alike locking pins ($39). Contact "Warren Ross" at "Anderson Manufacturing" 1-800-635-6106 Ext. 1103 or -- email address removed --:) :) :)

If you don't need the equalizer bars then try this link.

If you do need the bars then check out the manufacture for part numbers and start searching the web. I found my Reese adjustable weight distribution head at the local Les Schwabs
