I e-mailed DT profab today and asked:

Seems like a lot of members on the Turbodiesel Register are doing 2" spacers in the front to fit larger tires. I understand that this moves the axle 1/4" to the side. Do you have any plans to make an adjustable track bar for the '03+ year trucks?

The reply (which came within one hour)"

YES AND HOPEFULLY WITH IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF MONTHS

Sweet.

I recently wrote to DT about the same issue. They simply never responded.

So much for "next couple of months".

I e-mailed one of Darin's dealers the other day and he said the Solidsteel adjustable track bar will be available in about 4 weeks due to the time it takes to ship a batch of them to the U. S.

If I don't need a track bar. . . how come mines worn out?

Cheers,

Maybe because you have a second gen cab/ chassis 3500? The second gen 2wd cab chassis trucks have the same coil link suspension, with a track bar, as the 4x4's, the standard 2500 and 3500 2wd trucks have a double "A" arm independent suspension with no track bar.

Ok, you guys are giving me a headache. Too many caluclations and decisions. When someone has an agreed on "parts available" and installation process to correct/stabilize/fix a 4x4 with 2" leveling spacers on a 3gen please post it. I am waiting with check book in hand.

Thanks
