Has anyone installed the adjustable trackbar from Solid Steel? I was about to purchase a DSS with 03 trackbar upgrade and I saw their adjustable. I haven't read any post on this so I thought I would ask.
Im thinking 03 if I leave it stock but for some unknown reason my truck looks noseheavy... . ? soo a 2" BDS leveling kit is going to be my path. then I will choose the adjustable T-Bar.
Id like to see some feedback about the adjustable ones as well.
I will go for the adjustable. Should hold up well but we shall see. I believe he used better bushings on HIS bar and the stock '03 bars are supposed to last a very long tome. I am patiently waiting for it to become available.
Check out his site, he has some pretty neat looking stuff for us 2nd gen guys, it's more oriented towards the off road crowd but should work great on the road.
I just put the 03 track bar on my 98 and judging by the weight of it its a solid piece. If its not solid its thick enough to where you could thread it and put a sleeve on it to make it adjustable.
thanks guys that just saved me from finding a random 3G and crawling under it. Now I just have to price around for the cheapest one to beat Source Auto.
Has anyone installed this Adjustable Track bar from Solid Steel? I lifted my truck with the KORE system and guess I need an adjustable trackbar. I have been looking in to the DT trackbars thanks to MUCHSNOW. Thanks for the replies - no use re-inventing the wheel.

Just to let you know the Ripster is gonna be hard to beat, if you do happen to beat his price give him the chance to make it right and I'm sure he will!
I put the Thuren track bar on a couple of weeks ago and it's been great. Very Beffy and uses the stock mounting locations nothing to change and can be mounted with plow mounts.
This may be a really dumb question (sorry) but, how do you adjust the adjustable track bar? Once I get one on, do you just eyeball it and then go get an alignment?
