Anybody with a 2-3" mild lift i. e. KORE,Carli, etc. who has benefitted from an adjustable trackbar versus stock length in order to center the axle? Also aftermarket control arms? Thanks. I've got the DSS 3rd. gen conversion but still desire better tracking. All frontend components are kosher. Your experiences would be appreciated.

I've had Thuren's adj. bar for about 18 months (with KORE springs for longer) and it is SOLID. Zero movement in the upper ball joint and the bottom poly joint is stiffer than stock. I also got 2. 5" King shocks from him and now it will hammer down the back mountain roads. Poly bushings in the stock control arms stiffened it up too. -JJ

I have the Thuren bar in hand and will install it in a couple days. Probably take a few install picks, not that it's a big deal but pictures are nice.

I also have the Kore springs and sway bar drop blocks and Carli dual stabilizer system.

The Thuren bar is super stout. Wait till you see the pics.

Energy suspension has them for the stock control arms. I have a brand new set in the bag from energy suspension but ended up going with the DT Profab control arms. Paid $100. 00 for them last year- will sell for $75. 00 shipped. e-mail me = -- email address removed -- if interested.

JPittinger: Where did you get your polyurathane bushings? Are they part of a kit and if not what did you order?

Bajabob: I converted my truck to the 3rd Gen two years ago. Last week I installed the adjustable from sold steel. It moved the axle to where it belongs but made absolutely no difference with anything else. My axles were parallel but the front was shifted toward the driver's side after lifting, no dog tracking, just cantered. There in line now but has not made any difference in the way the truck steers or handles. Probably a waste of money.

Thanks,I received your p. m. I've done everything affordable to the frontend and had it inspected by two reputable shops here in San Diego. These trucks still have a fair degree of wander. I don't know what they did to the new ones but they sure do track nice.

Yup, Energy Suspension 5. 3120G for stock front control arms. You have to burn out the old ones. Best way is to heat the center bushing till it squirts out, then heat the outside and the rubber will slide right out. When I say squirt, I mean "might tattoo your forehead" if you're not careful.

I run the DT

I have DT unit.

I still have some wander which I figure is caused by the 35" BFG's.

I aslo have the 1/2 longer DT arms.

Zero tire rub.

I have the same longer control arms,Thuren trac bar, Solid steel steering box brace, same tires and had done everything to all steering/tie rod components possible- it wasnt until I installed an AGR steering box that my problem went away and now I can go down the road with one finger on the wheel to maintain control. Truck doesnt drift or pull anymore. It must have been something with the internals of the factory steering box (which also turned out to be the 4 turn box). Good luck

AGR steering box.

Thanks, moneymuncher. My box has only 53K on it and occassionally I adjust the top nut. I've got the quick ratio box already.
