Hello everyone,

For the first time, I looked into my AFC housing to see what it takes to adjust the fuel pin and shave the nylon washer. I had no idea it was so easy and it only took about 10-15 minutes.

In my case I had to rotate the pin approx. 80*counter clockwise to find the deepest setting. Took it out for a spin and gained about 1 lb of boost.

I took it apart again and this time I shaved the nylon washer from . 177 in. to approx. . 085 in. and gained another 1 lb of boost. If it matters to anyone my fuel pin had the # 70 stamped on the bottom.

For a gain of approx. 2 lbs of boost I wish I had done this years ago. Yes, I can feel the difference. Not much, but definitely noticeable.

Right now I'm thinking of buying an Old Smokey fuel pin.

Greenleaf, somehow the internet kills a good accent.

GLHS, get ahold of Old Smokey or Lenny at Dynomite Diesel Performance in Monroe wa. for that fuel pin. You'll be very happy you did.
