I did my last transmission service 30K miles ago, changing out all fluid and adjusting bands. Time to do another service and I'm really questioning whether I want to take a chance and adjust the bands again.

Transmission has 100K on it and seems to be running fine, no slipping and shifting is good. I don't mid the extra work but just hate to mess something up. Comments??

After just 30K since last adjustment you shouldn't need to do it again.
As long as the shift quality stayed consistent then its fine.

I would adjust them. It's so easy and you're right there anyway that I would (and used to) do it just to ensure it's in peak condition. It probably wont even change but it costs nothing to check.

Front band needs adjustment checked every service interval. The bands stretch with use and when they get too loose they chew the lining off of them, then you have larger problems.
