Today I had the transmission fluid and filter change and adjust the trans also. They also adjust the throttle plate How long should that take?

Depends on who is doing it. I can take that 1/2 hour and make it a 1/2 DAY.

transmission: pull pan--32-odd bolts and hair full of ATF, 10min (trying not to get ATF in hair. Filter 2 bolts, no problem 30 sec. Adjust transmission--find inch-lb torque wrench, get figures from tech manual, twist twist, double check-- 1/2 hour.

But I forgot, you've got to refill the bastud. And they make that SO EASY, with the little bitty fill tube and the quart bottles, then you gotta run it and get it warm and check it over and over until the bubbles don't bother you no more.

Plate adjust. Air horn, hose, solenoid assembly, dipstick--the under type, AFC, move plate, zip up--15, 20 minutes depending on how much hassle the AFC screw under the fuel lines is. And if it's been into before.

See why I'm a do it yourselfer? :-laf :-laf

I can take any job and turn it into a nightmare--BUT when I get through I know just EGGSACTLY which bolts are stripped and which gaskets are busted. ;)
