Are you looking for a visual difference? If they are anything like my Jeeps ball joints then the stud is off centered on the adjustable ball joints. Like this

A regular ball joint should have the stud in the center like this

You can also find adjustable sleeves (though I am not sure whether our trucks use them. ) like this

You adjust them by turning them one way or another. I think it helps to have the template that should come with them for adjustment.

Thanks frosty for the pics that helps but do you set the camber before you press them into the housing? I would assume you would only need these if you have a bent housing or somthing not quite right, since the factory ones are not adjustable.

I have a set wating to go in my Jeep on Friday so I can tell you for sure then. But I think you set it before you press it in. At least I am pretty sure you do. They are a tight fit and would be difficult to turn once pressed in.

Yeah more than likely the tubes or housing would have to be bent for you to need them.

Yes the Jeep uses the offset ball joint. Take your readings, install the new joints to to get the wheel back right. They press in, template to show how much change, where to install mark on side. Dodge used the offset bushing from 94- 99 or 2000 then went to the upside down ball joint like the jeep has
