I don't mind if it's a post like Bob's where he's just alerting folks to a good deal or a private party selling a couple of items. When vendors post in the forums it bothers me though, I just click profile at the bottom of their post then scroll down to the bottom of the profile and click add this person to your ignore list. You will see no more posts from that person.

I have been sending private messages to people that are posting ad's in the forums reminding them about the guidelines and asking them not to do it again. If I notice someone doing it repeatedly then I will delete them as well as sending them a message.

Thanks for the feedback.

Dieselnerd;

Actually, a lot of times you do have to read them. The one heading sited above is "Injectors". Not "Injectors for sale" etc.

I actually forget to check the classifieds also and that brings up another point. I think we should have a Classifieds heading right here in the forums. What does everyone think? After all, we are all familier with how to navigate and post in the forums.

Thanks,

Dave

I dont mind a "heads up" about checking the classifieds by a private party, sometimes it prompts me to go there when I dont really need something and havnt looked for a while.

How about if we see a great deal like a 98 12 valve 4x4 reg cab auto for $17K obo. , in the paper and want to tell everyone about it?

It's not really mine ot sell, but I want to make my TDR brethren aware of it if they happen to be looking for this hot ticket item.
