So I bought a new 2015 3500 in West Valley Utah. It's cheaper for me to have the truck shipped than flying from my location or driving to get it. I've talked with a few transports and pricing is all across the board. I'm not necessarily looking for the cheapest company, just the right one.

Can you guys point me to a place where I can check these guys out before I commit?

Spend the money to road trip and go get it. Tow the car back with the new truck... It would be a fun trip back. Write it off as "Vacation."

First, congratulations on your new purchase. I know that you have been waiting a long time.

I'll second going to get it on your own. Fly in and drive it home so that you put the first miles on your truck. I think the only way I would hire a transport company is if I knew them personally.

I agree it would be nice to take a few days off, but it's just not gonna work. Holidays are just around the corner, and I have so much to do yet to get the motel up to par for the holiday travelers come rolling in and before we leave for NFR the first part of Dec. This time of year is always crunched for time.

I'll keep searching. Thanks

When I bought my truck from DSM they hooked me up with Triangle Transport. I had some "communication issues" with the owner, but once it got on a truck the driver was immediately in communication, and very courteous. The truck arrived damage-free.
