Advice needed for replacing in-tank fuel pump/sending unit assembly.

Seems wash board roads have finally killed the in-tank fuel level sending unit on my 2010 turbo diesel. Was hoping those of you who have replaced this in-tank fuel pump/sending unit assembly can pass on your advice for the best source for a replacement module assembly (don't see the 2010 MY-34 Gallon-Big Horn 4X4 crew cab replacement at Geno's Garage) and any gotchas or trip wires I'm about to encounter performing this maintenance. Certainly could buy the replacement module at the dealer, just wanted to know what you all think is the best replacement part source would be from a reliability and longevity standpoint. I've already purchased the module lock ring removal tool online...so the rest of the job seems to be R&R related tasks and earning some driveway sweat equity. Your thoughts...and thanks for the help?

If you have access to a lift its not intuitive, but I pulled the bed off our 12' it was super easy. just take tail lights out, 6 bolts for the bed and a couple plastic harness clip and up she goes. Just use taller lift blocks on the rear to "tip the bed" away from the cab so you can clear the bumper and roll the truck forwards when she's clear.. If not, make sure you disconnect the lines and elec connector before dropping the tank, the plastic module quick connects break easy. May be easier to pull the LR wheel well liner (if applicable) to gain access with the LR wheel off. PB on the straps also the day before if its as rusty as this 12' was.

As for pump, OEM is good, not sure about where the best value is for purchase.

Hey bcbender...thanks for the info. I don't have a lift or access to one, but that's a bit of genius lifting the bed to get at the tank module without dropping the tank. What a great option. In a perfect world, there would be a bolt-on access panel providing access to this module from inside the bed, but clearly that's not a popular idea in car/truck manufacturing. Appreciate the caution about the fuel line clips...I'll be extra careful with those. And yeah...off to the dealer to get a replacement module...seems like a reasonable decision. I've set a jack under the tank with a wooden board on top.
So I was able to let it down after loosing the 2 bolts that hold it up.
Took out the spare wheel and from there the access to the module was doable.
Only connections I had to loosen prior was the filler neck connections at the upper end.

Thanks Ozy...I plan to use both of my floor jacks with a board as well to lower the "mostly empty" fuel tank.

I used a jack and pc of plywood to lower the DEF tank/rock guard I was helping my Son with. Same to raise into place.
