Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) AEM bruteforce HD (workhorse)

Anybody have one of these on a 2nd gen. ? got any pics of it installed? I've been looking at one of these or a AFE stage1 with a pro-dry filter. Which one filters better? AEM's website doesn't have any pics of the 2nd gen. intake.

My friend put one one his 99. No pics but the polished pipe looked good. He replaced his K&N with it with he discovered fine dust was getting through the filter and accumulatind in the intake tube. After switching he checked with a white rag and there was no dust. This test was done while traveling in deep bug dust in rural Nv. He was very happy with the price at $255. The AFE was twice the price.
