Can someone run a carfax for me?

need some advice

To small ponds, on the back 40. Fish are really doing well, but there is no fresh water running into them.

Any ideas on how to aereate them cheaply or is it necessary at all?

Use a pump to dump water over some rocks, so it cascades and gets aerated. There are not too many cheap options. If you have no power at your pond, you may be able to do something goofy with a solar panel intended for an RV, and a small water pump meant for an RV. Other options would be to get a small (1/2) hp pool pump and use it. You could build some sort of rock waterfall, or you could just have it pump through some sort of nozzle to spray over the pond.

The fish farms in SE MO take an old car rearend and modify it to run off the pto on a tractor with a driveshaft then they weld paddles on old wheels and a frame with skids that can be drug in and out of the ponds. There is also a wind turned device available for cattle ponds to prevent freezing that may do the job.

use cheep large style sump pump and point the discharge into the air out over the pond. . it will add air to the pond...

you can put the pump into a big trash can submerged to keep junk out of it.

or do you have a comperssor ??... run a couple sections of PVC out with some difusers [could use large fish tank ones I guess] on stands. . attach your compressor to the PVC pipe. . run low pressure to it
