Hey there,

had the other type of deflector where it springs from vertical to set back when going down the road but the frame of it hit the trailer so I got the Aluminum Wing from wingmaster.

This thing is nice and light and the shape of the wing is pretty neat, ... BuT... the parts don't fit very well. . when I put the end plates on, a few of the screws didn't match up and had to push on the wing to line up... the feet are another concern... I can't tell from the instructions but should the feet be like ... l l and not / \ ?? because of this configuration, I had to put a "S" crimp on the mounting straps to shorten them. .

Driving with it has some wind noise solo also have to add more stuff for the door seal. . but I go on vacation next week and I will see if this was worth it. .

My dad uses an Aerotravel I on his '96 2500 4wd towing a 36ft 5th wheel. Dad claims a 1mpg increase with the wing and uses any time he tows over 30 miles.

Not sure what the issue is with your mounting straps.

I have the wing and had no problems with the assembly or the straps.

The only difference in the wings to different vehicles are the straps. Just maybe they gave you the wrong straps for you vehicle.
