I know most of you like to remove your cat, but I am thinking of putting one back on my truck (2000 F250 with 2005 5. 9 HPCR). I have a 4" Magnaflow exhaust with an Aeroturbine as far forward as I could get it. Would you put the cat as far forward to get as much exhaust heat and then the Aeroturbine? Or maybe just get rid of the Aeroturbine altogether?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Rusty,

I would put the cat far forward in the exhaust stream and then the Aeroturbine close behind for best results. I have an aero followed by an 18 inch. MBRP muffler that sounds really good, no drone. The key is getting the Aero as close to the Turbo outlet as possible. For better flow, I would put it after the cat.

TheJeePDude and bzingre,

Thanks again. It makes sense, doesn't it? I wll try that when I get my used cat.
