We had a 39' Neumar, have a 27' Dutchman, and want something smaller because we take dozens of weekend trips every summer. Slide in is no option with the SB. We found a 21' Aerolite bumper pull, seems nice enough, plenty of room for two. Any opinions on this brand? What about the torsion bar suspension? Any comments appreciated.

My dad has made two trips to Alaska from the Mid-west (20,000 miles) with his trailer and had only a couple of minor problems. Some serious road construction related vibration pulled the microwave mounting wood screws from the cabinet. An easy fix by thru-bolting. The refrigerator contents ended up on the floor a couple of times due to a weak door latch. Suspension seemed to hold up well.

Otherwise, a fairly decent trailer for the money.

I noticed the low hitch height, and how low the sewer connection is  may have to keep looking. The 5ver we have now is nice just too big for 1-2 day trips. Sure wish I would have got the LB... Seems I remember the "boss" saying "it's too big", now she wishes she had kept her mouth shut.

Sorry, I just saw you're looking at a TT. I was talking about their 5th whs. I don't know about the TTs. Some guys have their 5th wh hitch behind the axle a little on SB trucks and don't have any trouble. I had a SB with the hitch centered over the axle and did fine but I had a pointed front Shadow Cruiser 5th wh then. I don't know if it would have worked with an 8' wide unit. Craig
