Andrew your right, it will pump fuel but I should have explained in more detail on what they told me. They meant that pump life would not be very good, maybe 6 months because diesel fuel is much heavier than gas,so the pump would have more strain on it and burn up sooner. There are always exception to this= some pumps might last longer or shorter, even though they are the same model.

Are you replying to my post about the big brother of the p-7100?

Andrew

might want to check out a company called SX. They have a pump that can provide enough pressure for a 1,000hp. I have one sitting here on the desk, and it is a solid unit. READ MORE HERE.....

We are currently working with them for a lift pump cure for our 24v Dodges. :D

Banshee, are those free flow #'s? At pressure the #'s will be less.

TDK, I need AT LEAST 300 GPH @ 30 psi. My earlier post of 500 GPH and 40 PSI is out of reach.

Chris, I think for a daily driver your set up may be the way to go!

Andrew I was talking about my earlier post on this thread about Areomotive pumps not good for are application. I see people here talking about big pressures and gph, thats not what we really need. The pressure and flow that we need is small compared to other applications,we need reliability with moderate pressure and flow. ;)

like stated by cabroker i've had the "log" on since July 13, 2001--it's plumbed with the Aeromotive regulator--I am 100% gravity fed from the bottom of the tank--I have a prefilter before the pump and a shutoff for ease of replacement also--running the Racor filter at the stock location--she pumps out steady flow no matter what the situation--most of my driving is in the city with numerous shut offs and turn ons--if it will hold out another 6 mos I'll be tickled pink and if longer then I'll never run another pump--chris
