Aeroturbine Exhaust, the envy of Ricers!

The silencer ring was in. Dave held the camera pretty close to the rearend of the truck so I doubt it would've picked up any turbo whistle anyway.

that is impressive because i could hear turbo whistle even with the ring in and i assume you where just reving the motor or where you riding in the back? to get any good turbo whistle you would have to be driving to get some good boost. i think i am sold on this system. i am still looking for egt results i will post here when i find them.

The clip was recorded standing about 5 feet from the tail pipe and the truck was stationary, so the sound is with no boost.

cant wait to hear this set up in an 03 w/o ring and boost going through the gears. after i get my truck back after getting some warranty work done. i should be in for aerotOo.

Very few alterations to fit the Aeroturbine kit. First you need to cut the tail pipe at the transition from 3. 5" to 4" and cut the secondary intermediate pipe to remove it from the first intermediate pipe. Lube the hangers and remove the second intermediate pipe and muffler. Loosen the clamp that holds the first intermediate pipe to the down pipe and rotate it the first intermediate pipe 180 degrees so the bend is up. Next fit the new pipe in the kit bend up with Aeroturbine and extension pipe if needed. Once the system is fit up with the new hanger and clamps tighten all the clamps and hanger.



Once you crawl under the truck and take a look at it the diagram will make sense and you can always call us with any questions or problems.

I can get Car_nut57 to ride in the bed for another recording we could get the sound of my truck under power, but if he leans out too far with that camera it might flip him right out of the bed!
