Hi, I installed the Aero last fall, I cut it in 18" in front of the Hog ss4" muffler, a system of which I installed 2 months prior to the Aero. The Hogg ss system is a piece of art, it looks and installs great. I went with the quiet muffler(they offer three muffler choices) and the sound was fine, but I did have a drone at 2000-2100rpm. That was my reasoning for installing the Aero muffler, I was hoping it would help with the drone. The Aero looks to be made with the same high quality materials that were used in the Hogg system, It fit fine and I used the same band clamps that came with the Hogg exhaust. It also helped with the drone, I still have it, but with a much reduced sound level. It also changed the exhaust note, much more of a rushing sound now, it was way cool before I changed turbo housings. I have not pulled with the system yet, this Saturday (06-19-04) we will leave for the dunes, and atlast I will get to see the benefits of the new exhaust system, turbo housing, Aero muffler, and larger TST plate. Hope I'm not dissapointed? I'll let you know. Also, I came to the conclusion a long time ago that stainless steel is the only way to go, weather it be exhaust system, Nerf bars, grill guard, anything that is exposed to the elliments. The extra cost up-front will more then pay for it's self after just two years, so for now on any and ever exhaust is stainless steel, they are a NO brainer. The Hogg system is beautiful, the bends are flowing with not a wrinkle one, and every joint was right on the money. I do some metal fabrication and would love to have a machine that could bend like that.
