I have a 94 Auto with the 160 pump and was wondering when you turn the star wheel how do you know when it is all the way out? Does it stop or is there a way to measure this?

Thanks

Out a screwdriver tip between 2 coils of the spring and wiggle it. When the star wheel is backed off too much, the spring can slide back and forth, and the smoke will be horrible. Turn the top of the wheel toward the engine to give more fuel to the engine, meaning less tension of the spring.

Thats for the guy in the ford behind you. :D

I have tried to get the fill plug off for a couple of hours. I think the same guy at the plant who puts on the oil filters put this plug in!! HE HAS GOT TO BE A TRAINED GORRILLA!!

Now, what would lead you to think he's trained? :)

Hi Carl-

The same trained Gorrilla installed my filler plug too. . Try using a hand impact tool. It just took a couple of light wacks of the hammer to break loose the plug.
