Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) AFC spring kit

Before I go in to do the #11 cam plate should I get an AFC spring kit too? Are most of you guys using these two in conjuction? Anybody use it then remove it? If so why? Thanks

I did both of mine at the same time, mostly because I already had it apart. You'll be able to get across the Island in half the time it normally takes.

Is there really any difference in chaning the spring and adjusting the stocker? Any noticeable difference?

I finally changed my spring to the medium one and at first I thought it made a difference but after driving it a bit I really couldn't tell. I already had a modified plate and the housing full forward with the star wheel adjusted to just contact the stock spring. This seemed to work well for me. I probably wouldn't bother if I had it to do over.
