I decided i had better clean my filter since it had been a while. I cleaned it with the cleaner, washed it out and let it sit over night. The next day i sprayed it down with the oil, let it sit for 20 minutes and then put it in my truck. My question is, how much oil do you used? It says to spray it down until you see no light spots. Is too much oil bad?

Yes, too much oil is bad. It can get sucked into the turbo and gum up the inside of the intake walls and intercooler. I usually oil it down until there are no light spots as well, but the way it sprays out the can can sometimes put too much in certain spots. If you spray it down and let it sit to where some starts running/dripping off the filter then it is probably too much, but a very light film of oil is all that is needed. It's hard to describe just how much too put on verbally, but I hope I helped you out. :)
