It's my understanding the OWNER has to prove the modification didn't cause the problem. If the dealer wants to play that way, you're guilty until you prove you're innocent, not the other way around.

Wrong..... The Magnusson Moss act states the burden of proof lies with the dealer. They'll play you to see if you're bluffing, but a certified letter from an attorney helped them to see the light in my case.

That's kinda what I meant, just didn't say it too clearly.

My Strong Opinion...

If you are going to use a gauze/oil type filter use AFE's Pro-Guard 7. I have used AFE's regular filter and it let fine sand/dust through.

I have never needed a warranty on an engine. Fully Bombed I might add with thousands of miles. Your engine will be going strong when the truck falls apart around it... .

Most people who add the AFE filter kits will tell you they felt an improvement. I can also tell you I saw a decrease in smoke when going from a K&N. I would recommend you inspect the different filters and you will see the Quality.

I recently installed the aFe Magnum Force intake with Proguard7 filter and I noticed quicker spool up and the truck seems to just breath easier. Also, I should be receiving my aFe Torque Tube from UPS tomorrow so hopefully that will add even more power .

Just got home from Glamis,Playing in the dunes with my 8000 lb truck,with the new stage 2 air intake system. Had a blast rippin up Oldsmobile hill,the turbo is spotless,the truck is filthy

Have you ever railed a big bowl in a 4x4 QC drw with 3 bikes in the back? 65 mph across a huge bowl is a sight to see... ... Spent Tuesday and Wednesday there. It was great, Rained all night on Monday... . Like racing on 3 inches of shag carpet... . Greg
