AFE filter mount with BHAF

I was wondering if anyone is using a BHAF with a AFE mount for

a Gen II truck? If so and it works is there a place out there that

has a pattern of one to make it like the Mallory mount pattern?

BHAF will not fit on the AFE mount. The filter is too big and the tube that the AFE filter attaches too is also bigger than the outlet of the BHAF (I believe)



I did use the smaller BHAF (fleetguard # 19002) with a Jannetty cold air intake. It fit well.

I have since gone to the AFE Mega cannon since.

Why would you want to downgrade from an AFE filter to a BHAF anyway????? Unless your looking for a loss in airflow.

The AFE was sucking dirt.

Because I don't like oiled filters. This is based on my experience

with the K&N not the AFE filters. With dry paper filters you won't

end up with oil residue and dirt in the air tract.

I have ran my AFE and KN for years and have never had oil or dirt in my intake. I guess I'm just lucky or have been properly oiling my filters. Personal preference I guess.
